No Way! June's over, too!!!

Where did June go?! I thought I was going to update the blog more than once a month! But either way, here are the month's pictures. We had VBS June 21-26, so I was busy getting ready for that and didn't get many pictures taken. (plus my camera has been on the fritz--when I take outdoor pictures sometimes they are all white) Then right after vbs, the girls and I went "home" for my sister Sarah's baby shower. Lots of friends and family came, some I hadn't seen for over 7 years!

Hannah and Alli wanted to "go to the beach" so Hannah thought the deck was a good substitute. She got beach towels for each of them, and a bowl of water for their feet! They layed out for about 2 minutes and said that was enough beach.

We're "home!" This is the cool teeter-totter my dad made. The cousins had lots of fun with this! This is Ruthy, Moriah, and Hannah.

On Grandpa's lap! Moriah, Alli, and Carrie.

I never remember Grandpa's cows' names, but this one has cute hairy ears!

Awww...Hannah and Ruthy talking to Sarah's baby.

Javan loved the pigs and cows. He ran over and climbed this fence by himself and was trying to get over!

Don't ya love this pose! Hannah in Grandpa's straw hat.
The girls! This is before Sarah's shower. Rachel, Ruthy, Sarah, Me, Mom.
All the grandkids (so far!). Javan, Alli, Hannah, Ruthy, Moriah, Grandpa with Carrie Ann.
Grandpa wanted to get the kids Amish straw hats like his own, so they took us to a local Amish bakery. (This is a REAL Amish bakery, where the people baking, quilting, and making straw hats are the people who live there, a sweet Amish family.)
(notice Hannah's "bow" tied with her hair!)

This is my attempt at a garden. Alli and Carrie are walking into their sunflower house at the back corner. The marigolds are surrounding some tomato plants and basil and oregano. In the front is leaf lettuce, carrots (not doing well), strawberries in baskets, and two plantings of sweet corn. Hopefully the corn makes it, so far it looks good. We have lots of fun pulling weeds and playing in the sunflower house.
Peeking out of their sunflower house.

Love the picture of your dad with all the kids and the straw hats! And congrats to your parents on the pending birth of another grandchild! How exciting!
