February 2010

A gorgeous snow in February.  It lasted a LOOOONNNGGGG time, too...or so it seemed.  It's good that February only has 28 days because it seems like such a long month.  But it's always good to get a good long freeze and lots of snow to play in.

Alli and Hannah showing how deep the drift was in front of the house.

Our homemade charades game...everyone had a blast.  Carrie was a ballerina every time, no matter what her card said.  She loves to be dramatic like that.  She lifts her eyebrows up really far and, with a serious expression, she floats around, swinging her arms up and from one side to the other, all on her tippy toes.  Sometimes she ad libs some princessy music and at the end she says, "Dip me, dip me!"  If someone is dancing with her she'll lean back reallllly far, whether or not their ready or able to hold her.  :)

The girls enjoying the snow!

Homemade pizza night.

Just playing around with my camera...great detail, though, huh?

Grace, Hope, and Joy came to spend the night.  This was the "sleeping" arrangement.  Notice the word sleeping is used rather loosely.  Once Carrie was in her own bed everyone was able to fall asleep pretty quickly.  :)

And the other half of the slumber party.

Grace with the crazy face mask.

Making neclaces and bracelets.

Joy and Hannah set up a store in the spare room.  They sold lots of toys and all the bracelets and neclaces the girls upstairs were making.
